Last week, Patrick and Maddie practiced Kayaking in the backyard. Maddie thought it was pretty cool to ride in a boat even if it was in the grass.
So... Friday, on Patrick's day off we went to a Preserve where there were trails for both kayaking and for walking. So Maddie and Patrick enjoyed the view from the water while Abbie and I enjoyed a peaceful stroll.

Chris & I need to brave the whole canoeing thing with Magnolia & David. Magnolia would be fine, but I'd still be a little worried David would fling himself over the side or something. Probably groundless fears, but still...
