Maddie's Real Birthday!

What a Birthday! It feels like we have been celebrating all month long. Maddie had a very busy day. It started out with Patrick and I waking her up by singing "Happy Birthday" at 7:30 am because we had a doctor appointment. After getting dressed for the day, she found presents to open around the house. She loves opening presents...
After the doctors, we met Aunt Mechelle, Allie, and Grandma at Chuck E Cheeses. The girls had a good time just running around, playing on the toddler equipment, and playing a few games. Neither one of them wanted to get close to the mouse, though.
Toys R Us' was next on our list. They were having a great sale on books and DVD's! So we picked out a few and then when we checked out they gave Maddie a birthday hat and balloon! She thought she was pretty special.
Lunch was our last stop at McDonalds. Maddie had never eaten inside before so this was a special treat. I was so proud of her because she actually ate all 4 of her chicken nuggets.
Maddie was too excited, to take her nap that afternoon. She decided to talk and play with her lambies instead of sleep. It was a good thing Daddy came home early so he could take her outside and I could rest for awhile.
Patrick surprised her with some flowers that they were able to plant and repot together. This is one of Maddie's favorite things to do- play in the dirt.
Maddie's Birthday ended with a fudgey cupcake from Publix. She had so much fun blowing the candle out we must have relit it about 5 times. We stripped her thinking she would love the fudgey frosting and make a mess but she wouldn't touch or taste it. So instead she enjoyed a fudgesicle before bathtime.
