The Dakotah Winery

This Winery is another one of our favorite spots when we go to Old Town. It's a pretty small winery that specializes in Muscadine grape wines. A Father and Son own and operate it without any other employees. Their wines are sweet and delicious. We usually have a wine tasting each time we visit. The location is really nice with shade trees, a pond with ducks in the back, and of course lots of grape vines.The owner, Max Rittgers, took our picture with one condition... That we would take and send him a picture of Madelynn. He was pretty tired in this photo and not happy that a tour bus was about to stop by and disrupt his peaceful winery.
