Madelynn had her 1 month old checkup today. She wasn't too happy so Dr. Lopez was trying to soothe her with the pacifier. But she didn't want it- she calmed down on her own.
Can you believe she weighs 9 pounds 5 ounces already? She gained over 2 pounds since her 1st appointment. Patrick's guess was about 8 pounds 6 ounces and I didn't think she would even weigh that much. Boy were we wrong! I am happy because this means she's definetly getting enough to eat.
Dr. Lopez showed us a trick- newborns have a reflex that makes them step up like they are walking. Madelynn walked across the table.
While we were waiting, Mom and I took some pictures with our cute, half-naked baby.
